Scope of the Reference Service

This is a private reference site, not a St. Louis City, Missouri, or federal office. It stores no official government records and cannot confirm whether someone is in custody, order or complete a release, accept a records request on an agency’s behalf, or file a court document.

Its pages point visitors toward resources maintained by St. Louis City Corrections, the St. Louis City Justice Center, Missouri DOC, courts, federal agencies, and independent research providers. Any third-party tool is a separate service with its own terms.

Acceptable Use Requirements

• Use the site only in a lawful manner.
• Do not use information to stalk, harass, intimidate, or threaten anyone.
• Do not base employment, housing, lending, credit, or insurance decisions on site content.
• Do not try to enter restricted systems, accounts, servers, or administrative areas without authorization.
• Do not operate bots, crawlers, scrapers, or other automated collection tools against the site.
• Do not interfere with availability, security, or another visitor’s ability to use the service.

No Consumer Reports or Screening

St. Louis City Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not prepare background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports. Its advertising and search partners do not provide screening services through this site. You agree not to use information found here or through a linked tool for:

• Hiring, firing, promotion, or other employment decisions
• Tenant selection, lease approval, or other housing screening
• Creditworthiness, lending, or the setting of insurance premiums
• Licensing, permits, or eligibility for a government benefit or program
• Any other purpose regulated by the FCRA

Responsibility for Outside Links

Links may lead to release records, City Corrections pages, government portals, court systems, legal-aid resources, and independent search services. A link is supplied for navigation and does not amount to ownership, endorsement, or control. We are not responsible for an outside service’s content, data handling, accuracy, pricing, security, or availability. Review that provider’s current terms and privacy notice before using it.

Service Provided As Is

The site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, no express or implied warranty is made concerning:

• The accuracy, completeness, or currentness of any information
• Continuous or uninterrupted access
• Freedom from errors, bugs, malware, or security vulnerabilities
• The scope or completeness of a partner’s search results

Custody, release, supervision, and public-record information can change without notice. Nothing published here is an official statement from St. Louis City Corrections, the St. Louis City Justice Center, Missouri DOC, a sheriff, a court, or another government agency.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, St. Louis City Released Inmates and its owners, operators, contributors, and service providers will not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from access to, inability to access, reliance on, or use of the site or a linked resource.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless St. Louis City Released Inmates and its owners, operators, contributors, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from your use of the site or your violation of these terms.

Ownership of Site Materials

Unless otherwise identified, the site’s original text, graphics, logos, design elements, and code belong to St. Louis City Released Inmates or its content partners. You may not copy, republish, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from those materials without prior written permission.

Revisions to These Conditions

We may revise these terms at any time. A new version becomes effective when posted here, and continued use after posting means you accept the revised conditions.

Suspension or Termination of Access

We may restrict, suspend, or end access to any part of the site at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice.

Missouri Law Applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute concerning the terms or use of the site must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction within Missouri.

If One Provision Is Invalid

If a court finds any portion of these terms invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. The affected provision will be limited or adjusted only to the extent needed to make it enforceable.
